How we started
The Latinx Disability Association was established in the spring of 2022 to address and combat systemic barriers Latinx individuals faced while building community in Georgia.
Mission and Vision
Mission:
To empower Latinx individuals with disabilities and their families by advocating for equitable access to resources, promoting inclusion, and fostering cultural and linguistic understanding within communities and institutions.
Vision:
A world where all Latinx individuals with disabilities have the opportunity to thrive in inclusive, supportive communities free of systemic barriers.
